ETH GO

Name + Identity for a student community at ETH Zurich

A chance to build a brand from the name up. ETH GO is a creative space at ETH Zurich where students come together to experiment, prototype, build ideas and collaborate, and where many ideas have taken their first steps towards becoming startups.

Go Fail, Go Learn, Go Build, Go Nuts..

GO became a flexible action word that could be paired with almost anything, encouraging students to experiment, make mistakes, learn and build. The language extended across rooms, objects, events and merchandise, constantly adapting to what was happening in the space.

For a hackathon, bananas became Go Bananas and packs of nuts became Go Nuts - tiny interventions designed to hype students up and bring the identity into everyday moments. Students could even create their own GO combinations, making the identity as changeable and hands-on as the space itself.
